"I love reading reviews, but it bothers me that some people feel they have to be "rude" when writing one sometimes, so I felt I had to "justify" this recipe. First off, you should know ahead of time wether you like Parsnips or not, and also the squash, second>NO recipe is "written-in-gold", you can swap-out, delete & add any ingredients you choose! I thought this recipe was delicious, as did my hubby....BUT, we both like Parsnips, I did however swap-out the squash for Sweet Potato (mostly cuz that's what I had on hand). Had we not liked the Parsnips, because YES, they can be "strong & overbearing" in a recipe, I would have sub'd something else or just deleted them!! At $2.50 a pound for boneless pork loin, I sure as heck would not have fed it to my DOG....although she would have just loved it!! LOL"
