Grilled Ribs with Cherry Cola Barbecue Sauce
"tasty, very tasty. dropped the ginger and added a large dollop of prepared beet horseradish. tried the next time with dark Scottish beer instead of the coke. excellent also. tried the next time with the same beer and added some molasses. even better. kids like the cherry coke flavor better; oldsters like the beer. Betty; full marks on this one"

Springtime Ham and Egg Bake
"doubled the eggs, used ground lamb. rosemary and sweet basil as necessary. dusted with ground dill just before serving. Works well with ham as well. works for our family, and has worked as neighberhood supper dish as well. when using ham, i have added some ground cloves as well"

Apple-Sausage-Cheddar Breakfast Bake
"outstanding. i use 8 eggs, and really tart apples. top with apple slices. have made it with bosc pears, which also works well. and have used peach pie filling with apples. still cannot find a package cheese that is as sharp as i like. this actually feeds six guys that are going to work that day. throw in some nutmeg by the way."

sawy16 had a neat idea with the corriander. this is an excellent base recipe; I add a couple of tablespoons of worcestershire sauce to the meat, and some sweet basil to the veggies. a little sage goes well also.

Impossibly Easy Breakfast Bake (Crowd Size)
Rating:
outstanding - add chopped chives for interest, and top with crushed cornflakes tossed with dark brown surgar. works equally well with left over roast pork browned with worcestershire sauce. also works well with swiss cheese.
