DPKP replied to the topic How do you make the best Grilled Cheese?
"I think the secret to a perfect grilled cheese sandwich is to use sourdough bread, toast it lightly in the toaster (to dry it out just a bit), then grill it up in a frying pan with real butter. The extra step of toasting the bread results a crispier grilled"

"These are soooo yummy! I followed the directions exactly (except that I used a whole large apple, which was probably a little more than 1 cup), and it turned out perfectly! The tartness of the Granny Smith apple was a perfect balance to the sweetness of the bar. We ate them while they were still just a little warm, and they were a huge hit! A scoop of ice cream would have been an excellent addition. [For those who felt there was not enough mix to cover the bottom of the 13x9 pan -- I found it helpful to use my hands to gently smooth the mixture to the edges. There was enough to make a thin layer -- which puffed up while baking.]"

"I hate to disagree with everyone else, but I was terribly disappointed with this recipe. The honey lime glaze was the strangest combination of flavors -- which did not blend well. I love trying new recipes, and most are a hit; but this was an epic failure. We ended up ordering pizza. :("

"My husband flipped over this dish and declared that the recipe was a keeper! It was very tasty -- spicy, but not too much so -- creamy, but not too rich. I was also easy to make. I couldn't find the fire-roasted tomatoes, but the regular ones seemed to do just fine. Be sure to serve it with a crusty loaf of bread so you can sop up the yummy sauce!"

"We absolutely love this recipe! The Dijon mustard adds so much flavor, and the chicken is so moist. I prefer fresh mushrooms, so I used those instead of canned. Other than that, the recipe is perfect and has become a family favorite at my house."

Holy cow, this is delicious! It tastes like you slaved over it all day. My husband couldn't stop raving about it! I think I like it even better than traditional chili and definitely plan to make it a part of my favorite recipe rotation.

YUM! The sauce was bright and flavorful, and it was delicious served over the chicken as well as the rice and broccoli that I served with it. The whole family loved it, and I WILL be making this dish again. As a bonus, it's really low in calories too!

These are SO tasty! We like them served with tomato soup for a light dinner or a satisfying lunch. Being a fan of cream cheese, I am tempted to slather it on. But a little really does go a long way.

What a perfect treat for a simple Sunday supper! The sandwiches were delicious, and I will be making this again. I melted seedless raspberry jam to use as the syrup. My husband was skeptical about putting something fruity on a "ham and cheese sandwich," but it was the perfect accompaniment! Yummy!

Sooooo yummy!!! Next time I'll use a little less nutmeg (since it's kind of strong), but my whole family loved this warm, spicy cocoa!
