"I made this recipe for my friends and they LOVED these bars, so I made a second batch and they disappeared quickly. I will definitely make these again. They were very unusual and at first everyone thought they sounded strange having bacon in them, but they wanted more!"

"This recipe is definitely a family favorite now! Easy to make and everyone loves it. The macadamias are a little difficult to find here, so I stock up when I can find them. I'm anxious to try using canned pineapple tidbits or crushed pineapple, well-drained (as mentioned in other comments), instead of using the dried pineapple. A definite "keeper"!"
