"Baabra, I have used my crock pot frequently since the 1980's. I think you will find that in certain recipes bone in breasts do better that boneless. The chicken stays together better when the bone is in. When you clean the chicken, remove any small loose bones and you will find that the bones don't break lose in the liquid. When you remove the breasts from the crock pot use a large spoon on pancake turner so it stays together. I have not tried this recipe yet, but when you use boneless breasts they fall apart and make it more like a chicken stew (unless they are well browned before you put them in the pot and even then they sometimes break apart). Beside, the bones give a lot more flavor. "

"It was good, but not great. I agree with other viewers that there were way too many onions - and they never really carmelized. When I served it as leftovers I thickened the gravy with Bisto and it was better. If I make again, I will also lightly brown the onions in the pan after I've browned the meat. And I agree with the other reviewer - you could make an awesome onion soup with the extra onions. "
