"We had this dish tonight. It was great. I'm glad I read the reviews before I made it because 7 cups of water would have been too much. I used 4 cups of water and it was just the right amount. I used spicey sausage. My hubby loved it. Now who's going to clean up the kitchen? :)"

"We had this for breakfast this morning and we thought it was yummy delicious! I made it with hot sausage. This added just the right amount of spice. The casserole was not too sweet as someone stated and maybe that was because of the hot spicy sausage. We thought it was the perfect mixture of flavorings. I'm sure I will make it again and again! Thanks for the recipe. "

"This is a great recipe for butternut squash. I love squash but have never tried butternut squash. It is delicious! Parmesan cheese is the perfect addition. My only problem is peeling it. Does anyone have a suggestion to make peeling easy? "

"We just had this gumbo for supper. It was great! The slow cooker didn't save time but what I liked about it was I put the gumbo together this morning and started it cooking at noon. I had to go to work for about 4 hours and run a couple of errands. I came home and cooked the rice and Tada! Supper was served! This will be great for guests. Next time I think I'll add shrimp and oysters toward the end of cooking. Thanks for the great slow cooker gumbo recipe. "
