"This is really good, and I have made a couple of times. I used homemade meatballs that I had frozen. One time, I added some red pepper in with the carrots-- the vegetables really could be changed with what you have on hand or like. Also, I have used this creamy rice recipe with other foods, like chicken and pork."

"I made these for my daughter's 4th birthday party, and they turned out great! It was easy to put together and looked awesome. I used part of a gummy worm for the tails and red m&ms for the mouth. I would recommend using the gel food coloring to get a deeper green (I had to use A LOT of regular food coloring)."

"This was not my favorite, but my husband really liked it, so I'll give it 4 spoons. The broccoli was mushy, so next time I'll steam the broccoli separately and add at the end or use fresh broccoli. A lot of different veggies could be substituted, which makes it a versatile dish. The sauce was good."

"Very good! We will definitely make this again. I added mushrooms and garlic powder, per review suggestions. The meat was very tender. Also, I only cooked it for about 5.5 hours (the 1st hour on high, the rest on low) and everything was done."

"Really good recipe. I used fresh broccoli and a little more chicken and broccoli than listed. It turned out well and the broccoli was cooked (I worried a little because I didn't pre-cook). My husband added a little hot sauce to his to spike up the flavor. Also good reheated."

These were fantastic! They actually got better after sitting for a day or 2 (they softened up). Also, because other people suggested it, I left off the glaze. I definitely thought it was sweet enough without it.
