Strawberry Shortcake Squares
What a great way to serve strawberry shortcake to a crowd! Delicious, just the way it's written. I prefer my shortcake to be the original type ~ not a fan this dessert when it's made with pound cake regular cake. Thanks for sharing this :)

Impossibly Easy BLT Pie
I made this again tonight but adapted it to my dietary restrictions... using Hormel Crumbled Bacon, Miracle Whip Light, Veggie Shreds Cheese, Silk & Jiffy Baking Mix (sorry I have food allergies & Jiffy is virtually dairy free)... it was very good! Granted using freshly cooked bacon & "real" cheese makes it soo much more tasty.
I also chop my tomatoes so that you can get a bit in every bite :)

I made this with modifications due to my dairy allergies and dislike of the "corny" flavored Kix cereal. I replaced the yogurt with Strawberry flavored Silk Soy Yogurt and used slices of Angel Food Cake for the crust ~ DELICIOUS!!!

Grilled Mexican Citrus Chicken
I adapted this recipe to fit our taste... Because we don't care for oranges I replaced the o.j. with 1/3 c. cider vinegar (for the rest of the acid) and juiced & zested 1 large lime. I added minced garlic and used boneless/skinless chicken tenderloins in place of the whole chicken pieces. Not only did this smell delicious, it was delicious!! Thank you for the original recipe :)

Strawberry Margarita Cake
Love this recipe... My only change to the cake recipe is adding a cup of diced strawberries to the batter. They really up the berry flavor and add a nice "pop" of fresh to the cake. But instead of frosting it with Cool Whip I make a glaze by thickening some of the strawberry margarita mix with cornstarch and stirring in another cup of diced berries after I take it off of the heat. When plating the sliced cake I top it with the strawberry glaze and a dollop of the Lime Zested Cool Whip ~ YUMMMM:)

Grilled Beer-Brined Chicken
This recipe(as written) was far too salty for our taste. Other than that it did have good flavor. Next time I will omit the salt completely from the brine... the beer has enough sodium for us.

Strawberry Dutch Baby Pancake
I''ve been making "Dutch Babies" for years but this recipe is much less fuss with the same delicious result ~ thank you. The only thing I would change is the topping ~ fresh is so much better. Try a fresh berry compote or warm spiced apples with cinnamon & pecans. Top with freshly whipped cream ~ YUM :~)
