Slow Cooker Fire Roasted Tomato Pot Roast
"Good basic recipe. For flavor, add 1/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning, a pinch of sweet basil and thyme, some celery seeds or three cut-up stalks of celery. You can also substitute celery salt for the celery flavor."

Chocolate Pudding Poke Cake
"In any cake mix, I always substitute milk for water and real butter (unsalted) for the oil. Makes a much better cake. I also add 1 Tablespoon merengue powder. Although not a fan of instant pudding, I tried this and it came out perfect. I topped it with real whipped cream with two drops of peppermint flavoring."

I made these for supper and wow, they were super. I am 75 and always looking for something new. I have a friend who is an extremely fussy eater and even he enjoyed them. These are a must in my recipe book.

Chocolate-Banana Snack Cake
Rating:
I was so glad to see this recipe. I used to make this years ago and lost the recipe. I have also made it without the bananas but forget the exact measurements. Maybe someone out there knows. I am definately going to make it with the bananas.

I made this and added shredded cocanut. Great. I also need help. Does anyone know the reciope for Sunset Salad? I have lost mine. It is a molded salad made with lemon Jello, ground carrots, celery, crushed pineapple and pineapple juice. I know what is in it, I just do not remember the measures. You may e-mail me at noconnell@maine.rr.com thank you. dearcat

Easy Turkey Pot Pie
Rating:
I used this recipe with chicken, fresh snow peas (cut up) and fresh carrots (sliced) my own gravy left from the roast chicken. Used fresh mushrooms sliced. Great. Love the potato crust.
