Slow Cooker Chicken Stew I tried this recipe today and my family and I loved it! I took the advice of another reviewer and used one packet of onion soup mix and 1/2 cup of water. I did not use any other salt in the recipe and found it to be perfectly seasoned. I also cut up some onion about a half cup and added that. The tomato paste I used had garlic and basil added to it. I used about a third of a six ounce can and froze the rest. My husband wants it again next week!
