"Bluebarb" Coffee Cake
"This was a really easy coffee cake to make and it had great texture and flavor. I used chopped, frozen rhubarb and frozen blueberries. My family loved it and it didn't last very long. I'm adding this to my "keeper" file and will make it again and again."

Gluten Free Easy Grasshopper Bars
"I made this recipe for a co-worker's birthday. Instead of making bars I just made the regular cake. It turned out spectacular! It was so good I made it again for my family at home. Everyone raved over the flavor of the frosting."

Thai Seared Shrimp with Tomato, Basil and Coconut
"My family liked this recipe. Although it did not have enough heat. Will add cayenne or maybe Sriracha (rooster sauce)next time. I changed the order of cooking instructions so the shrimp didn't get overcooked, I added them last and cooked until they turned color."

Philly Cheese Steak Casserole
"This dish had lots of good flavor but was too soupy. It did thicken up after sitting on the table awhile. I think the cheese on top is not needed, it did not add to the flavor or appearance of the dish. I probably won't make this again."

Fluffy Key Lime Pie (<I>lighter recipe</I>)
"I made this pie for a potluck. I did use a store-bought graham cracker crust. It was a big hit! The flavor is subtle and refreshing. Very easy to make! There was no leftovers and people were begging for more."

Hearty Breakfast Bake
Rating:
This recipe was delicious and easy! Since I didn't have any swiss cheese, I substituted pepper jack cheese and it was good. I like recipes that allow for some variations. The next time I make it I will add more sausage - 1-1/2 lbs or 2 lbs.

Cowboy Casserole
Rating:
I found this recipe while searching for something to make for dinner with ground beef. Although I did not have a can of baked beans on hand, I substituted a can of Nalley chili con carne. After reading the reviews and seeing that dryness was an issue, I increased the BBQ sauce to 2/3 cup. Also, instead of the Bisquick biscuit topping, I used a can of Pillsbury crescent rolls and laid them on top. It turned out really good and my family, although skeptical at first, loved the casserole. It will go right into my recipe box for future quick dinners!

Layered Yogurt Fruit Salad
Rating:
I made this fruit salad for a 4th of July BBQ. I doubled the recipe and it turned out really good. I was worried that the "dressing" would not coat the salad very good but it sort of drizzled down through the fruit and as each scoop was taken from the bowl, it mixed itself. Very easy and I had no leftovers! I will definately make this again.

Lumpy Pan Pizza
Rating:
This recipe is perfect for older children to make on their own. My 12 year old made it all on his own (with my supervision) and felt very proud of himself. The best part was our whole family loved it! We will definately use this recipe again and again.

Pecan Pie Bars
Rating:
When I made these bars, the crust got too browned and as a result was too hard. I didn''t care for them dipped in chocolate either. If I make them again, I will reduce the baking time for the crust and skip the dipping!
