Slow-Cooker French Onion Soup
Great recipe! We made this with veggie broth instead and it was very good. Like other reviewers, I ended up browning my onions in the skillet first because my slow cooker doesn't get hot enough to brown anything. Also, the directions make it sound like you're supposed to mix the flour and worcestershire sauce together first. That just made lumpy flour clumps. Next time I'll add those ingredients separately to the onions and broth. Yum!

Goin' Fishin' Chex® Mix
Great snack for a football watching party. This recipe makes a large amount, so if you don't want as much, I would half the recipe. The only change I would make is rather than pout the cereal on top of the melted butter, poor the butter over the already mixed cereal and crackers. I found stirring this difficult in such large quantities.

Slow-Cooker Maple Butternut Squash Soup
This soup was delicious and so easy to make! The only changes we made were to add some additional spices to taste (cumin, paprika, bay leaf) and half the amount of maple syrup. I will definitely make this again. And leftovers were even better a day or two later. We served this with some crusty french bread.

Healthified Tres Leches Cake
This recipe is great! To reduce the calories even further, here's what I changed: 1. Substitute unsweetened almond milk for skim milk. 2. Substitute 3 egg whites for 2 whole eggs for cake batter. 3. Substitute unsweetened applesauce for oil in cake batter. You can also drizzle caramel or cajeta over the slice when you serve it.

Gold Medal® Classic White Bread
I've made this recipe 3 times. The first time was a disaster! But, the second time I realized that where I went wrong the first time was I payed more attention to the clock and less attention to the dough. That is my recommendation to anyone making this bread - follow the "or until..." instructions rather than the timing instructions. Tastes great and makes great sandwich bread, homemade croutons, french toast, etc.

Crunchy Garlic Chicken
This is one of our favorite recipes. I've made it for small dinners or large parties with chicken tenders. Everyone always loves it and asks for the recipe. The only change I make to the recipe is to spray the chicken with olive oil spray before cooking rather than drizzling with butter. It allows for more even coating and crisping.

Hot Pretzel Bites
This recipe was very good and so easy! They were a huge hit with my family. They definitely needed the melted butter at the end and I needed better salt (all I had was sea salt, which worked okay). They were good without dipping sauce, but my family did suggest a mustard or cheese sauce would make them even better.
