Turkey Oven Sandwich
"These are awesome! The ground turkey is like a mild ground beef. The topping is not like anything you imagine. It is a creamy cheese taste. My wife added tomatoes to the topping to add flavor and to get a vegetable (or fruit depending on who you are talking to) in the dish."

Turkey Oven Sandwich
"I''m not sure why the others didn''t like this. We LOVE it! It''s inexpensive, easy to make, and has a nice, creamy topping that is delicious! I am not a ground turkey fan but this was great, the turkey was nice and tender. We made a few changes for convenience sake. We left out the celery and changed the poultry seasoning to seasoned salt. You can also use sliced ham and turkey or turkey and then add bacon pieces to the topping. Makes a nice, hot deli sandwich! Just be sure to watch your cooking times.. it''s not so great if you overcook the pita shells."

Campfire Calzones
"These were really very good and using the BBQ grill to cook them was a nice touch! It added a unique flavor to it. I took a little longer to put the sandwiches together, so the pizza sauce made the bread a little soggy. I would recommend just dipping the sandwiches in the pizza sauce as you eat them. The salami and shredded cheese were great!"

Baked Turkey, Cheddar and Bacon Sandwich
"I LOVED this sandwich! It was like a deli sandwich and a pizza in one kind of with the Bisquick bread. DELICIOUS! DEFINITELY A 5!!"

Impossibly Easy Taco Pie
"I used a small casserole dish since I don''t have a pie plate. I don''t know if that affected the flavor, but we didn''t care a whole lot for this one. It might be a good idea to add some tortilla chips to the recipe for a little crunch. Just wasn''t a strong flavor to me."

Apple Crisp
Rating:
It was really good and the comment the person made about it being better the next day was SO TRUE!! I am going to cut the nutmeg a bit next time, I think. My husband said he liked it just fine. We put butter pecan with it- kinda gave it a praline feel. VERY GOOD

MMMMMMMMM this was amazing! Be sure to carefully choose your roast beef, you want a premium one to really appreciate the flavor. Boar''s Head is great if you can get it!! This is one of the few 5''s we''ve given out!

The barbeque theme was a little off-putting. I was confused as to whether I were eating Asian food or All American Barbeque. It wasn''t horrible, just not the way we eat BBQ!!

Baked Chili with Cornmeal Crust
Rating:
i took the other reviewers comment about it being bland and added a good sprinkling of Menudo mix which has chili powder as one of its ingredients. I was not very pleased with it while eating it intact with the crust on top, but once my husband and i mixed it all up together in our bowl, it was fantastic!! i love Cheddar cheese and sour cream in my chili, so I topped it with that before serving. It was great!

Italian Steak Sandwiches
Rating:
The flavor was great!!! I loved the pesto and all. I was not crazy about the type of meat they recommended. It was very difficult to chew- especially when it''s on a bun. My husband thinks that you wouldn''t get the same flavor if you went to ground beef but I''d be willing to sacrifice some flavor for ease of eating. You have to make this! Just don''t use the steak they recommend, something more tender would make it a 5!
