"I was amazed with how quick and easy this was! My fiance is not a squash person, so we substituted asparagus and red pepper. DELICIOUS! It took me all of 5 minutes to get it ready to go, and I felt like we'd just put it on the grill when fiance said, "It's ready!""

"There is something wrong with the measurements in the recipe. I could tell as I was making the dish, but kept going because, until now, Betty has never steered me wrong! This came out a watery, disgusting mess, and I followed the directions exactly. I probably will never make this again, but if I do I won't try to do the one-pot way it has here, but rather cook the pasta and sauce separately."

"Made a double batch of this for a bunch of friends and it was a hit! Mixed in one can of pinto and one can of black beans for a little variation and used ground turkey instead of beef. Served with corn bread and it was very delicious. Just the perfect amount of spice. Only problem I had was it came out a bit too runny. Next time I will be sure to vent the crockpot a little bit to release some of the moisture."
