"This cake was great. I bought a 12 oz bag of caramels so I just cut down on the milk I added for filling. Worked great. The recipe was put in the make again file."

Chocolate Turtle Cake
"This cake was easy to make and delicious. The package of caramel I bought (Canada) was 340 grams therefore only 12 ounces. So I just cut down the milk to 107 ml. It worked out just fine. Everyone in the family loved it and said I can make it again. I think the ice cream was too much and I would stick with just whipped cream for a topping."

Quick-Mix Chocolate Cookies
"I do a very similar cookie but I cut the oil to 1/3 cup. I then make up a cream cheese icing and call them Oreo Cookies. Depending on the season I will sometimes add a couple of drops of food coloring to make them more festive"

Sausage and Potatoes Italiano
"my family LOVED this casserole. I personally couldn't try it because the scalloped potatoes have MSG (monosodium glutamate) which I am highly allergic to. I am shocked to see Betty Crocker still using MSG in their food. I look forward to the day when they don't and I might try more of their products."

Strawberry-Rhubarb Squares
Rating:
I haven't actually tried this recipe. But the rhubard squares that I make add 1/4 cup flax seeds to the mix. It is a wonderful addition and healthy as well.

Apple Crostata with Caramel Sauce
Rating:
this recipe was simple and tasted amazing. I didn't use the caramel sauce as I love eating apple pies with vanilla icecream. I have also used apples with mixed berries in this recipe as well. Basically making it a bumbleberry Crostata

Easy Ranger Cookies
Rating:
these cookies were easy to make and the family loved them. You could also add some raisins or dried cranberries to the mix. Of course if you are a chocolate lover a few chocolate chips would hit the spot.

Mint Chocolate Chip Ice-Cream Pie
Rating:
I made this recipe a few months back and my kids/family loved it. I did do a few alterations to the original recipe. I made my own chocolate wafer crust. I then mixed the broken cookies and the ice cream together and added some creme de menthe to the mixture (maybe 4-6 tbsp). If you add the alcohol you need to add more time for the ice cream to set back up. I would recommen making it early in the morning or the night before you are wanting this dessert.
