"My husband and I liked this recipe. I used 4 oz. cream cheese instead of 3. Next time I make it I am going to try to do it in layers: a layer of the bread mixture, then berries, nuts, and cream cheese; then the rest of the bread and another layer of the berries, nuts, and cream cheese. I think it needs more berries than the recipe calls for, and more cream cheese couldn''t hurt, either. It''s nice that I can make it the night before and have breakfast ready quickly in the morning."

"This dish definitely needs to cook longer. Every time I have made it, it has been soggy on the bottom. I always add a bit more blueberries and about double the cream cheese."

"I was surprised how good these turned out to be, considering that they're made from Bisquik. I added a little extra cheese. Mine weren't dry at all, and hardly needed any butter either. I'll definitely make these again."

"When using a square pan the edges were too brown while the center was still undercooked. Taste and texture were fine (but it was a little crumbly). Maybe loosely covering it with foil near the end would allow the center to finish cooking without burning the edges."

"My chicken burned in less than five minutes. I'm trying to salvage it by finishing the cooking at a lower temperature, but I would suggest cooking it at medium heat to begin with. It might also help to flatten the breasts before coating them so that they don't take as long to cook through."

This was very easy to make and very quick. I used whole wheat flour for half of the amount called for. It was good, but next time I'll use just regular flour to see how it is. My loaf took longer than 55 minutes to bake. It needed about 12 extra minutes for a toothpick to come out clean. We felt it was best eaten with butter spread onto each slice because it was a little dry.

This is a pretty good recipe. It was easy to adapt. I didn't have all the ingredients, so I used some frozen mixed veggies and frozen spinach along with the celery and onion that were fresh. I also added a can of kidney beans and a cubed potato. I cut the recipe in half for my husband and I and it worked well. If you don't want it to be so tomato-y, replace some of the juice with chicken stock. I used vegetable juice instead of tomato, and we didn't think it was too acidic at all. I'd probably make it again.

Slow-Cooker Pumpkin-Apple Dessert

This is a good dessert but I will change a few things the next time I make it. Otherwise I would have given it a higher rating. First of all, I used real eggs instead of egg product and it turned out fine. It took about 4 large eggs to make 3/4 cup. I should have followed the advice to use 2 cans of apple pie filling, so I'll do that next time. I also wonder if a can of whole berry cranberry sauce would be good in this? The cake was good, but a little bland--the spices didn't really stand out. I would add a bit more in the way of nutmeg, and maybe some cloves as well, just to give it some spiciness.

I made this for my son''s first birthday. People complemented me for the cakes, but I didn''t think they turned out that great. I froze the cakes for an hour, but they still crumbled when I tried to frost them. They didn''t look quite as cute and uniform as in the picture. I would do it again, but use a more sturdy cake (I used white cake mix) like a carrot cake type, and I would not bake it in a glass pan because it makes the corners round. Fun-looking cakes, but not as easy as I thought it would be.

Classic Sour Cream Coffee Cake

This cake was great! My husband raved about it. I used fat-free sour cream and walnuts instead of pecans. My husband loves the glaze, but I thought there was too much of it. It was decently thick even with 2 T. of milk. Next time I would make it thinner and not use so much, or just use powdered sugar sprinkled on top. I really like the layers of brown sugar filling, but next time I will do a better job of dividing the filling evenly- -this time I ended up with way to much at the end. I will probably make this again.
