"Opps! I went back to my newsletter and seen it does have Limited Addition. Well, I'll be using the BC coupon and grab 2 when I see them. Sorry Dcrovo, hope you land a few mixes too!"

"Dcrovo, did I miss something? I don't see the Shortbread cookies in the limitied addition list. According to my recent newsletter, I was left with the impression, BC was just introducing the Shortbread cookie mix. I haven't seen it, yet, anyway. So hopefully you'll be able to have Shortbread cookies anytime. At least, grab a couple of pouches, that your budget allows, when you see them. My love is any sugar/shortbread...well, any cookie really. Cookies leave a smile every time!"

Streusel-Topped Blueberry Muffins
"This was a little more dense of a muffin then what I like, for my blueberry muffins, but love the stussel topping. I'll use my old BC sweet muffin recipe the next time, and see how that turns out using the strussel topping. It's just a small difference, but a big one to me,it uses 1/2 cup less of flour and 1/4 cup less of milk, to what this recipe calls for. All other ingredients stay the same. For those that are looking for a touch more flavor in this muffin batter, try adding 1/2tsp of vanilla to give a little flavor, I found it to balance the flavor of this heavy batter with the sweetness of the blueberries in this recipe. For those that want to try the topping, but don't like cinnamon, or can't eat it, just leave it out. If you want a little spice in you topping and like nutmeg, try adding 1/4 tsp. of nutmeg in place of the cinnamon. I'm always looking for a different recipe for my blueberries, and Betty is always trying to help me make it better..that's a good thing! "

Bisquick® Velvet Crumb Cake
"This is one of the All Star recipes from years ago, that my Mom made when I was little. It was great then and great now. Like some remember the original topping was made with crushed cereal, which I tend to lend towards. Also, like others, I use just the cake and top with strawberries and whip cream. My latest experiment was to do this in cupcake tins, as I wanted little, easy to grab portions...gotta remember to grease and "Flour" my cupcake tin, as I really had the crumb part and muffin tops, still yummy, just crumby. Hubby said it gets broken up anyway when you want milk on your cake and strawberries."

Pineapple Upside-Down Cupcakes
"This is Great! Making cupcakes gives nice presentation, portion size, and everyone gets a cherry! I use crushed pineapple in it's own juice instead of slices, as I always have crushed on hand. It's nice to see someone else uses the reserved juice in place of water, as it adds great flavor to the cake. This is also nice for carrying to a picnic, or any get-together. This is one of my hubby's favorites. "

Applesauce Pancakes
Rating:
I liked the applesauce in the pancakes. Like jewelf, I used cinn. applesauce with a dash of extra cinn. Next time I'm going to add the chopped apples to the recipe, like foodlover71. I just like how tender and fluffy these turn out. Even though Blueberry is still my number 1 pick, then it's the regular Bisquick pancake recipe, with cinn, nutmeg and splash of vanilla added and Applesauce pancakes will need to take the no. 3 spot. I do pancakes for dinner, as a special treat sometimes, and love all the new flavor suggestions. Come fall, I'm trying Pumpkin, in search of another comfort choice, to warm the tummy on a cool night. Mix, pour, flip...Enjoy!!!

Oatmeal-Caramel Bars
Rating:
I made these with the reg. oatmeal cookie mix and added mini Choc.chips, with the caramel layer. The flavor is good, but there might need to be some baking time change. The edges can cause some serious dental problems, the rest is nice and chewy. I figure if I add a slice of white bread over-night, it might help them come morning. If not, I'll be disappointed and I don't think I'll do this again. I'm at the age/stage in life, I need recipes that take little time, effort, and with better results.

Impossibly Easy Zucchini Pie
Rating:
Excellant! I love these Impossibly Easy recipes, and any recipe that gets hubby to eat veggies, gets a gold star, and this recipe did that. I want to thank the member that suggested mixing the zucchini, tomatoes, onion and cheese into the mix, instead of layering, works very nice. To also compliment the zucchini and tomatoes, I added Dill Weed to the mix. This pie disappeared fast, with being asked when it was being made again. Thanks again, BC!

Warm Caramel Apple Cake
Rating:
As a pineapple upsidedown cake lover, plus and apple fan, this recipe was a Winner. I lined my pan with the Release foil and it came out perfect. I also added cinnamon to my apple slices, as well as a 1/4tsp of cinn in the cake mix. I didn't use the iceing, nor extra caramel, for topping, as IMO, it's not needed. The cake was a hit with everyone, and the recipe is a keeper.
