Slow Cooker Chile-Chicken Tacos
"My bf loves to order taco salads from local Mexican restaurants so when I made this I used taco salad bowls instead of the taco shells. THEY WERE A HIT! I added extra lettuce along with all the other ingredients but except corn, I used black beans. BF suggested using corn and black beans. I was also able to find the boneless skinless chicken thighs from Tyson. There were 3lbs in the bag so I only used one as the recipe called. The thighs made the meat so tender and juicy. I will definitely be making these again! "

New Orleans "Best" Gumbo
"I made two pots for my family during the mother''s day weekend and it was GREAT! It took longer than three hours to make it because it was my first time but it was very easy. Instead of putting the whole 16oz bag of okra, I put only half of it. Then I added a half of bag of frozen gumbo mix that had okra and corn in it. Since my family is not so keen on pork, I used turkey sausages that tasted just as great. When I was ready to serve, I spooned rice in half of the bowl, then I topped it with the gumbo and served it with a side of jiffy mix cornbread. This recipe was a success and I felt good when I saw those empty bowls wanting more. The kids will enjoy also because it is not spicy."

"This gumbo is delicious! We are a seafood only fmaily so we didnt add the gizzards etc. I called this the $100 gumbo because I spent almost that much buying the ingredients. All I had was a stock pot when I decided to make this. This gumbo is one of those gumbo that taste better the second day....although it was very good the first day! Will make again"

"This dish was ok HOWEVER, I used only half of what was asked for the spinach. My Niece and nephews ate it but I am just not a fan of hamburger helper."

Impossibly Easy Taco Pie
"This was my first time making this and this is a number 1 fav recipe. It was quick and easy! At first I thought it looked a bit weird when i placed it in the oven. It was like man, I hope this is good. After it was done, I spooned salsa on each individual slice and then topped with sour cream. My husband added some left over taco bell sauces from the fridge.....Mm Mm Good! Next time I will buy the mild taco sauce and add it. This recipe was perfect for the two of us. If you have a family of four or teenage boys then you might want to double the original recipe."
