"This recipe may be "heart smart" in some ways (lower fat), but any bread type recipe with ZERO fiber is NOT heart healthy. I still want to see a better version of Bisquick made with whole wheat and possibly other whole grains, not all processed white flour. There are great alternative pastas out there, why not this?"

"I totally agree with Good-Dazzled up and others re: high calories etc and will use the substitutions noted. I also cannot figure out why the dish needs to be cooked slowly for so long, as all ingredients in the pot are cooked already. So, I'm going to try baking it also. I've wanted an enchilada casserole recipe for a long time, and think this is it (with mentioned subs)."
