Candy Corn Cookies
I haven't made these yet, but I've been reading the reviews and I think I can help with the spreading into ovals problem. I've used the sugar cookie mix a lot with various things and if you follow the cut out cookie recipe on the back of the pouch on the bottom instead of the main drop cookie recipe they will keep their shape. I think the cut out recipe just calls for a little more flour and a little less butter. It's too bad Betty Crocker didn't publish the recipe like that because these look so cute and it looks like so many people have tried them and they haven't turned out. A little more flour is all you need to keep them from spreading. Hope this helps someone!

This recipe was so good!I really liked that once the caramels were cut, they did not stick to the wax paper, they were perfect and I''ve had lots of requests to make more. I will always use this recipe.
