"next time you make gnocchi, don't cook them before you freeze them. you can take them from the freezer uncooked, put them in the boiling water, and when they float to the top, skim them off and into a serving dish. your mascarpone sauce sounds great."

"jersey tomato, sliced in a bowl. sliced onion, fresh basil, a little salt to taste, xtra-virgin olive oil to cover. serve with crusty itailian bread."

"i use equal parts of salt, pepper, chili powder, garlic powder, dry mustard, and sugar. rub into ribs, roast, chicken, whatever. cook over grill or in oven."

"every friday. when it's hot out and the air conditioner is on, i make them on the gas grill. cheep and everybody gets just the toppings they want."
