Hot Pretzel Bites
To make these taste more for like pretzels, poach them in a baking soda bath before brushing them (not dunking them in!) with egg.
2 quarts boiling water to 1/4 cup baking soda. Don't pour the baking soda in all at once! Boil bites for 30 seconds a side, brush with egg and sprinkle with salt, then bake.
