Holiday Cookie Ornaments
"My candy canes melted as well. I tried tweaking the temperature as well as the baking time. I used parchment paper... I'm not sure why they melted. Oh well! They are cute cookies in theory!"

Buffalo-Blue Cheese Grilled Chicken Burgers
"This was yummy. I did add bread crumbs to the mixture since the ground chicken and sauce didn't seemed too wet. I also added a pinch of ground pepper. While the chicken burgers were grilling, I also basted it with buffalo chicken sauce, before and after I flipped. This made them extra spicy and flavorful. My husband loved them! I think that the next time I make them, I will make them as sliders. The neighborhood will love them when football season starts!"

Coconut Shrimp
"These were a big hit in my neighborhood. I used more coconut than the recipe called for because I changed the coconut fairly often. I found that the batter made it clumpy, and then it was hard for it to stick to the shrimp. Once I used a little coconut at a time and changed it frequently, it was a breeze. i would definitely make these again. I wasn't so keen on the sauce--I think that something more tropical, like a mango sauce, would be much better. But the shrimp were so delicious, it didn't matter. Perfect for the summer!"

S'mores Brownies
"I just made them for a party for my daughter. I haven't tried them, but they look delicious and smell delicious. BUT--I must say, I put them under the broiler and they were in there for maybe 10 seconds and they started to burn. It is VERY quick!! I did have the broiler on high, so that may have been my mistake. Set the broiler to low, and maybe put the brownies 6 or 7 inches from the broiler. I plan to make a second batch this weekend so I'm going to give it a shot."

Peanut Butter Truffle Brownies
Rating:
These are a family favorite. The kids love the creamy, sugary peanut butter in the middle. I like that it has a smooth, velvety consistency. I use milk chocolate chips instead of semi-sweet, only because that's the chocolate that I prefer. But these are very tasty, even with the cheapest brownie mix and store brand peanut butter!

Dutch Apple Pannekoeken
Rating:
This was surprisingly delicious and my kids LOVED it! I added an extra apple because my kids like the "extra apple." I also give them some whipped cream on the side to dip. My daughter had a sleepover last night so just now I doubled the recipe and put it in a 3 qt. glass casserole dish so we would have plenty. Definitely worth trying!

This is delicious either grilled or broiled. My kids love it because it's cheesy and we love it because it's different from the norm.

White Chocolate Cheesecake
Rating:
I had never made a cheesecake before, but this was delicious and relatively easy to make. It was perfect for Christmas Eve. The white chocolate was very subtle, but it added that extra something.

Tempting Turkey Tetrazzini
Rating:
Although I haven''t made this, I can see how it would be bland. There is a recipe out there that you use parmesan cheese and sherry and it is delicious. I also mix mushrooms and heavy cream in as well. The sherry is what gives this dish the added boost that so many reviews say it''s missing. So if you want to try something like this, opt for a recipe that contains sherry and you won''t be disappointed.
