"Good flavors, just be sure not to over cook it! I cooked it for the seven hours and it was a little mushy. My family liked the flavors and I will make it again, just with less cook time."

"Hi slowcookerJudy, You could cook this on the stovetop and substitute onions instead of the bell pepper. I would saute the onion first before adding it so it is nice and cooked-which is what the crook pot would do. After you cook the bacon and drain the grease I would add rest of ingrediants except for cream cheese and heat thru. Then I would add cream cheese until melted and heated thru.
