Slow Cooker Italian Meatball Soup
"I was not intending on changing this recipe at all, but forgot to put it into my slow cooker before going to work. When I got home from work I decided to throw everything together into a big pot and put it on medium high for about an hour. While it was boiling I decided to add some pasta to it, cause my family loves pasta. Anyhow, this was so delicious and so simple. I did Italian seasoning to it, just for my preference. So, if you forget to put it into the slow cooker like I did, don't fret, just put it in a pot on the stove :)"

Chicken Chili Verde
"This soup was pretty good. So easy to throw together with using the Progresso Soup. I picked up the chicken corn chowder soup that had bacon flavor to it, but that is because I didn't even notice until I got home. I am not a fan of cilantro, so I left it out. I wanted this recipe to have a bit of a kick so I did add some ceyenne pepper to it, as well as other little seasonings for flavor. Overall this recipe was pretty good and I would recommend trying it. So easy too :)"

Taco Supper Skillet
"This is pretty good. I did find it a bit bland the way the recipe directions were given. I only had Italian diced tomatoes so I used those, and I do not think it affected the flavor or anything. I had to use more cheese and a little bit of red pepper to give it some zip. I also added a little bit of taco sauce."

Easy Ravioli Bake
"I have made frozen ravioli in the past, boiling them in water and adding sauce, but I like the baked ravioli much better. I didn't measure out the cheese, so I think I used more cheese than the recipe calls for, but I like things cheesy :) I will definitely make this again. It was delicious."

Sloppy Joe Rotini (Ghoulish Goulash)
"This was just ok for me. I did not add the zucchini, because my family does not care for it, and I just used the original sloppy joe because I could not find the chunky style. I don't think it made it to my permanent recipe box. :("

Maple Chicken Drummies
Rating:
These were a big hit. I cooked these according to the directions, but then put them in a ziploc bag in the fridge overnight so I could make it easier for dinner the next day. The next day, I cooked them for approx. 30 minutes and added a little extra sauce during the last 5 minutes or so. They were awesome!

Cheddar Melt Chili
Rating:
I changed a few things in this recipe. Instead of using ground beef I cut up some chuck roast into small cubes, added some seasoning (seasoned salt, and garlic powder) and browned it in 1 1/2 Tbsp. of butter with diced onion. I also opted for just one can of mild chili beans, because my husband doesn't like alot of beans. I added some ground red pepper, chili powder and additional seasoned salt to the mix after it was finished. My husband and I really liked it. I would definnitely make it again.

I was a bit disappointed with this recipe. I thought it was a bit bland. I followed the recipe, and I liked the taste of the corn in it, but something was missing.

Peppermint Cream Brownie Torte
Rating:
This didn't turn out well for me. It was too chocolaty for my preference, and it just plain didn't taste that great. I cut off the sides of the brownie that were a little too done, but some of the brownie along the edges were still a bit crunchy. Everything in general didn't turn out how it was supposed too. I guess I just didn't do something right. I don't think I'll be trying it again anyway, cause I think it is just not my type of dessert.

Salsa Pizza with Cheese Crust
Rating:
The crust didn''t roll out as big as it was supposed to, but I didn''t knead it as much as it said to so maybe that is why. It turned out delicious anyway. After I folded the crust up over the meat I put small squares of the process cheese all over the top. It was really good. I still added some shredded cheese on top also. My 11 year old son thought that the mexican process cheese (with jalapenos) was a bit spicy so when I make it again I think I will just use the regular flavor and omit the salsa also. I think I will just make it like a cheeseburger pizza. It really didn''t take a lot of time and I think that the overall recipe was really good. I plan on making it again.
