"WOW! This is THE BEST chowder EVER, and it's so easy to make! I definitely agree with making the potatoes into smaller cubes; I didn't see the previous reviewer's comments and so didn't make them small enough. The potatoes were a little hard, but the flavor of the chowder was spot on - so delicious. I added 1 TSP of salt at the end to taste and it was perfect! This is a keeper and one of my all-time favorites."

"WOW!!! I'm still licking my fingers :) This recipe was SUPER easy and SUPER tasty! I've never made ribs before thinking that it was way too hard - well, not any more, these ribs were so easy to make that I think that my 13yr old could make them. He's the main rib lover in the family, so I know he's gonna want to learn how to make these (LOL)."

"I tried your suggestion Mrs. S and used a packet of onion soup mix, but still found that it was pretty bland. So the next time I made it, I also doubled the amount of salt called for in the recipe to 1 TSP of salt and included a TBSP of Worcestershire sauce. That REALLY made it POP. We're not drinkers in our family, and even with just water instead of the suggested wine/beer, it was mmm-mmmm good. This is one of my favorite slow cooker recipes now because the chicken & veggies get so tender in the stew. I will certainly be making this again with the few tweaks stated above :)"

"This recipe is a keeper for sure! I'm a newbie to slow cooker cooking and this was SO easy and such a hit, it's helped me gain confidence in using my crockpot :) My daughter isn't too keen on spices, so I may try just use regular ground beef next time, but I just can't wait to make it again."
