Next Day Turkey Soup
Once you've had the home-made version you will never consider canned broth as an option!
I'm with Jozlyn - preferring to make my own broth from the carcass but I never thought to add crushed garlic and that sounds wonderful! I only add water as needed to keep the carcass covered. To the strained and de-fatted broth add shredded carrots, minced onion, shredded cabbage and simmer all until the veggies are done. Then I add the chopped turkey and lots of medium size egg noodles. Continue at a low-medium heat until the noodles are done. Season to taste and serve!
