Candy Corn Cookies
Really liked this recipe! So cute and fun! Things I did different: 1. Used liquid food coloring for the orange. Added about a teaspoon extra of flour to compensate for the added liquid. 2. Used softened butter. Not on purpose, just didn't read the recipe 3. Didn't have the right size pan so used half of an 8" square pan. I think it's REALLY important to chill the dough thoroughly. Also, saved the "ends" that were kind of misshapen and added them to other "ends" to make nice shaped cookies. Do NOT crowd on the pan as they do expand quite a bit. Also, I used the full 9 minutes baking time so they did come out crunchy. SOOO cute and easy! Going to make these for Halloween and Thanksgiving!
