"The original Bisquick version of this recipe is at least 20 years old. I have a paper copy of it I cut out way back then. Never knew why it was called "taco" because it didn't call for the seasoning, but for folks who don't like the spice, or just want a different version of a really great combination: cut out the taco seasoning, reduce onion to 1 T. and mix raw w. mayo/s.cream/cheese topping instead of the meat, change tomato to 2 med, sliced and you are back to the original. This is even better the next day and I use it for a make and take dish to reheat at a pot-luck lunch or dinner."
