"I made this for my daughters 3rd birthday. I'm no "piper" so instead of piping icing on the bodice I "painted" icing on her, then stuck "hundreds & thousands" (aka jimmies/Nonpareils) on the icing. My daughter was also into fairies so put in fariy wings at the back. I'm on the fussy side so I spent alot of time ensuring the flowers on the dress were perfect! Well worth the effort put in :-)"

"I made this for my son's 1st birthday and got loads of positive comments. It's one of the easier Betty Crocker designs I've tackled thus far!"

"I made this for my daughters 2nd birthday and she loved it! Once again, it was fun to construct :-) I used a square of left over cake (from cutting the base of the purse) and used that to put the candles in so as to not ruin the effect of the purse, then wrote my daughters name in icing on the cake stand (ie where the tea cups are in the Betty Crocker version)."
