Chicken Cordon Bleu Chowder
Extremely good. If you want to make from scratch subsitute as follows:1 can 24oz Cream of Chicken1 can 24oz Cream of Mushroom1 can 24oz Milk, whole.1 cup celery1 1/2 cup diced ham1 1/2 cup diced chicken1 clove garlic, chopped1/2 cup butter, salted3 Idaho potatoes, medium in size dicedChop garlic, put in sauce pan with butter, simmer on medium heat until garlic is light to medium brown in color.Add all remaining ingredients stir to blend and cook on medium low heat stirring ocassionaly until vegitables are tender. Add 2 06oz packages of swiss cheese, stir until cheese is melted anc simmer for 2 more minutes. Will make approximately 12 servings. The butter and garlic cooked this way, makes the soup taste like roasted garlic.
