I absolutely LOVE making this cake for special occasions. One thing that I do different though is, instead of yellow cake mix I use spice cake mix and I also use about a half cup of canned pumpkin to each box of cake mix. I do have to add a little more cake mix to each one but nothing else. The spice mix makes it more of a fall flavor and the pumpkin does the same but it makes the cake SO moist!! This turns out to be a HUGE cake, so I dont normally make it for everyday. I am making it at the moment, my son has a cake bake off tonight for Cub Scouts!! Wish us luck!!!
