"Home made mac & cheese is so easy and SO much better than the boxed mixes. My Mom always used celery salt instead of regular salt and for some reason, it really brings out the flavor of the cheese. You don't need to use as much as the recipe calls for, as cheese has a natural saltiness. If you're going to bake the casserole (instead of just mixing & serving it), you don't need to cook the pasta as long. "

"I have been making Sausage Cheese Balls for years, but not according to this recipe. Used 1/2 lb pork (breakfast) sausage and 1/2 lb HOT pork sausage (I like Jimmy Dean). Use about 2 - 2 1/2 cups Bisquik and 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar. Let sausages come to room temp, then mix all ingredients with hands until all are incorporated. Make 1" balls and bake at 375 for about 8-10 minutes. They are very popular and freeze well, too."
