"I made the dough to these cookies last night and tried finishing them today. I thought the peppermint was going to be too strong but quite the contrary, I agree, they were a bit bland. The dough was also really sticky regardless temperature but I figured out a method to make them work. Even so, the peppermint/sugar mixture you sprinkle on afterward was kind of a waste seeing as how it didn't really stick which was much of a disappointment. I thought it would have given them more flare as well as more flavor. They look pretty and I'm sure my receivers will love them, but I'm not Entirely impressed. "
