Found the Maple Pecan Cake recipe and read all the reviews so took extra care in hopes mine would come from pan. It did! I left it in pan much longer cooling than the recipe said, plus I used shortening and flour to grease my tube pan (not a bundt pan).
For the frosting, I measured out the XXX sugar, added the maple syrup, then used 1/2 n 1/2 for the milk (didn't measure). Just kept adding the XXX sugar until it was the right thickness. Wonderful recipe and will be making many more times.
