"I have a bunch of fresh basil in the garden, so I used it instead of the spinach, but cut down a bit to 1 1/2 cups...just lay in the fresh basil leaves as you would the spinach. I love fresh basil, and it really, really made this meatloaf special. Of course, if you don't like fresh basil...don't try it! :o)"

"To the last poster: the recipe doesn't call for apple schnapps, it calls for butterscotch schnapps, which is delicious. I wouldn't change it."

"Bacon, chocolate, peanut....how can it go wrong? Never! BTW, norwood rose, I know you were trying to be helpful and educate the people that rate a recipe w/o trying it....but you put 1 spoon, and that hurt the rating. I guess you were rating the people, but that isn't right either!!!!!"

"Regarding the thin chocolate wafers: they are never with the cookies, but usually near the ice cream toppings in the grocery store.(don't ask me why....) They are often used when making a chocolate crust for a pie, like graham cracker crust. "

"I think we should remember to check the temperature of our ovens on a regular basis.....put an oven gauge in and turn it to, say 350, and after heating for about 15 min., check and see if the oven gauge shows 350....I have had to do this because of mishaps in baking...and turned out my oven thermostat was off by as much as 50 degrees....simple adjustment should help. That could be why some of the reviewers list the cake as dry..:0)"

"Since discovering Greek yogurt, I'm always looking for ways to use it. It is simply delicious with a creamy, thick texture...in this smoothie it is excellent. I never buy Yoplait or those others anymore. "

"Bisquick is wonderful for whipping up a quick chicken and dumpling meal. I have used the dumplings on top of hot fruit mixture by just dropping spoonfuls on top; just add sugar to the mixture before mixing. Delicious quick cobbler."

"Bisquick should put this recipe back on the box, along with some of the variations mentioned here. 1/4 c. of plain or flavored yogurt adds some flavor and moisture. We always serve this warm and put butter on it...delish."

"My aunt gave me this recipe many years ago. However, I do use less Bisquick; 3 cups makes them quite dry. I use about 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 cups Bisquick. Excellent dipped in a sweet sour sauce or barbecue or your favorite dipping sauce...even Ranch!"
