Spicy BEERbacoa Tacos
"ugh! absolutely disgusting and a waste of a perfectly good cut of meat. dry, stringy, bland, nasty. meat was sooooo tough and dried out i had to puree' it to make it possible to chew and it has no flavor whatsoever. very disappointing. only gave it one spoon because i couldn't give it less. i wouldn't feed this to my dogs!"

Skinny Piña Colada
"i made this recipe according to the directions the first time, then adjusted it to suit my taste (less pineapple juice). delicious!"

Slow Cooker Jambalaya
"speaking as a cajun, jambalaya does NOT have tomatoes in it!"

Cheesy Green Bean Casserole
"I make this same recipe but instead of cheddar, I use parmesan cheese and instead of bell peppers, I add bacon. I also use original onions. I *hate* original green bean casserole, but my husband loves it. My version is an alternative we will both eat."

Healthified Creamy Chicken Enchiladas
"this was about as bland as bland could be. and it didn't make 8 enchiladas even though i only used 1/4 cup filling per tortilla. i only gave it one spoon 'cause i was forced to, it really deserves none. a complete waste of food!"

Grilled Beer-Brined Chicken
"i used chicken breasts for the recipe. even after modifying it for only four chicken breasts, it turned out great. i did increase the rub ingredients because the rub for the entire recipe was only about the amount i would normally use on ONE chicken breast. i used no-salt in the brine and omitted the salt in the rub (no offense, salt lovers; we just don't eat much salt). the chicken turned out moist and the taste and smell were incredible. i served it with a sauce made of siracha & honey on the side. next time i may add a little brown sugar to the rub ingredients because it seems like the recipe would work well with some additional sweetness. i don't think any other cooking method is going to get the flavor you get from grilling. i will definitely be making this again!"

Ham and String Cheese Roll-Ups
"Dough took a cup more water than recipe called for, deli ham was hanging out the edges of a 6.5x4.5 rectangle, dough was still dry enough to have to use water to seal the seams, prep took an hour not 20 minutes. I would not recommend trying this recipe unless you are an experienced cook and willing to tweak all the little problems with this recipe."

Mexican Cheesecake
"This recipe was terrible. We are all cheesecake fans, but only 3 slices got removed from the pan before I threw the remainder away. The 3 slices were not far behind. My husband found it too spicy, my son and I found it boring."
