"This was nice because it was not as sweet as most mixes and frostings. The frosting is basically pudding...just ok imo. I thought the cake was dry as well."

"This was pretty good, healthy and quick. My boyfriend didn't really care for it but he ate it so that's saying alot...I added onions, garlic, bell peppers, corn and black beans. I'll definitely make it again."

"I wanted to add this was much better the 2nd day as leftovers. The sauce thickened up nicely and the meat was fall off the bone tender and flavorful. I will make this again, either a day ahead or in a crockpot where it can slowly simmer all the flavors into the meat."

"This was good, easy to prepare, not sure I'd make again. I was surprised at how muted the flavors were. The fennel was very mild, which was a good thing in my case I wasn't sure b/f and kids would eat it. The sauce was great but it's very souplike. You really need to use alot less liquid...I'd try 1/4 c wine and a 15 oz can of tomatoes. The meat was pretty bland. All the flavor is in the sauce."

"I made alot of changes, but what a great idea for a quick creamy vegetable soup! There's so much you can do with this. Instead of broccoli and corn I made mine with 1 small head of cauliflower, chopped, and 1 med shredded carrot. I used a pkg of scalloped potatoes instead of au gratin and evaporated milk in place of fresh milk. I was worried about the sodium so I didn't use chicken broth, about 4 cups of water and 1 boullion cube. Seasoned with black pepper, garlic and onion powders. Wow so fast and quick and really had that homemade taste. Thank you! I will use this base recipe many times to use up my old veggies!"

"Quick and easy, nice and hearty for a chilly evening. I made a few adjustments for what I had on hand. Only 1/2 cup of salsa in the fridge so I added 1/2 cup of crushed tomatoes with some pickled jalapenos chopped up. Scraped the kernels off an ear of corn in place of the canned corn. 1 can of kidney beans, no black beans. Added some fresh garlic and onion as well as all the other seasonings called for in the recipe. I really enjoyed this, my bf not so much. He didn''t like the sweetness of the cornbread mixed with the chili ( I used Sylvia''s cornbread mix which is very sweet)"

"Awful! I followed the recipe exactly...the caramel mostly sunk to the bottom of the pan and burnt. I had to ditch the whole goopy mess!"
