"I was super excited to make these cupcakes. Followed the recipe exactly as directed. My cupcakes looked nothing like these and I am a pretty frequent baker. They are tasty but not as great as I had hoped. My kids did enjoy them though."

"these are a nice change to German chocolate. THey were a big hit. Next time I will bake a few minutes less, being as the bars were a little dry. I may also add more frosting. Overall, very good."

"Very good, moist, flavorful cake. I used this as my son's birthday cake and decorated the top with his party theme, so I didn't top off with strawberries, just used them in the middle but was still great. Got a lot of compliments!"

"I made this cake for my son's birthday. The cookie part of the cake was very good. I think maybe next time I'll use a chocolate cake mix instead of yellow. Got some compliments on it though. Very different recipe."

"This cake is so easy to make! Instead of making a homemade cake I used a chocolate cake mix. It''s very rich and very chocolatey so cut very thin slices and it''s really only for the truest chocolate lovers!"
