"I tried these today and they were just okay. I don't know if it was the oil I used (canola) but I thought these had a bit of a funny taste. My daughter thought they tasted like Thai food! They get 3 spoons for being easy, but I won't bother again."

"These sounded similar to my Finska Pinnar cookies so I decided to make them that way: Once you've made the dough, chill for 1 hour. Then take large pieces and roll them into ropes about the width of a small finger. Cut the ropes into 2" pieces and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten each with the back of your finger. Substitute 1 egg white for the milk. Beat the egg white with a tsp of sugar until frothy. Brush the tops of each cookie with the egg wash, then sprinkle with the almonds (finely chopped) and a little granulated sugar. Bake about 5 1/2 minutes. Very easy, very delicious, and makes about 5 - 6 dozen 2" cookies."

"My go-to recipe for the perfect lemon-filled coconut cake. Easy to make and comes out great every time - light and elegant. I make this at least once a year as a birthday cake. I have also made the Lady Baltimore option - also delicious. I have multiplied the ingredients by 1.5 for turning this into a 3-layer cake: 3.25 c cake flour; 2.25 c sugar; 4.5 tsp baking powder; 1.5 tsp salt; 0.75 c shortening; 1.5 c milk; 1.5 tsp vanilla; 6 egg whites. Mix as directed, pour into three 9" cake pans. I recommend using cake flour over regular flour. Other than making it bigger as I have, there's no way you can improve this classic recipe."

"The addition of baking powder and lemon juice is what makes a difference in these pancakes; they act the way a yeast would to make the pancakes very light and fluffy. I too needed to use a bit more milk to thin the batter, and they cooked up quick and easy. You can't taste any lemon, so don't be afraid to try it. This will be my go-to pancake recipe from now on. "

"I just made these this morning on the spur of the moment. I didn't want any nuts, so I just doubled the chopped dried cranberries and eliminated the nuts. I soaked the cranberries in the milk while I pre-heated the oven and measured the Bisquick and sugar. I used low-fat Bisquick and 2% milk because that's what we have. Drop biscuits never look like much, but these were a lovely treat with our morning coffee! Chock-full of yummy cranberries, warm with butter.....I will definitely make these again - so easy and quick. "

"The main value in this recipe is the directions for the flowers. I did this once to decorate a cake and instead of candles used mini-marshmallows for the flower centers. I dipped the cut marshmallows right into a bowl of colored sugar. Only the cut part sticks to the sugar, leaving a pretty outline around each petal as you see in the picture. It's quite lovely for something so easy. "

"I forgot to mention that I added about a teaspoon of curry powder to the sauce. Just enough to taste interesting but not enough for people to identify what it was."

"I doubled this recipe for a baby shower, dicing the turkey breast meat from one of those roasted turkey breasts you can pick up by the deli, and I used broccoli cuts instead of spears so it could be eaten easily with only a fork. It was a huge hit and so easy to make. Will definitely use this recipe often."

"This is so close to the recipe I have used for several years now that I am going to rate it as if it were the same. If the only kind of cheesecake you have experienced is the graham cracker crust, two package variety, you owe it to yourself to try this. The best you'll ever taste, and really no harder. Velvety rich, big enough for a good crowd, tastes better the second day."

"So glad to find this recipe! Have been making the crockpot version a few years and it never occurred to me to convert it to a regular method recipe. This version works better for my current lifestyle. I always added a few good shots of hot sauce to spice it up enough for my hubby and me. We served it over rice or sometimes over fettucini, not having access to Thai noodles. Delicious!"

"I have made these several times now, and have decided to make all future biscuits with this recipe. The addition of the oatmeal makes them very delicate and light-delicious with meals and wonderful on its own with jam."

"Consider me a convert! A die-hard traditionalist who always made fried chicken the old-fashioned way, I will use this method from now on. Crispy, not greasy, delicious, and so easy!!!"
