Slow Cooker Short Rib Dinner
"Extremely easy to make. And quite tasty for short ribs! I put this on high because I started too late for cooking on low. 5 and 1/2 hrs on high will make the meat fall off the bones and the carrots nor potatoes were the least bit mushy."

Slow Cooker Pizza Ravioli Mix Up
"This was easy and delicious. I didn't even put in the pepperoni and I forgot the olives. Didn't miss either, but I'm sure they would be great included. I'll try them next time."

Slow Cooker Tex-Mex Round Steak

Slow Cooker Tex-Mex Round Steak
"I only used 2 pieces of eye round each about 3-4" x 1/2". Kept the onion, celery, and broth the same. Used a can of corn drained, instead of the frozen, can of garbanzo beans drained, instead of the black beans and added a can of dark kidney beans drained. Used a 16oz jar of spicy salsa with a tiny bit of water to rinse it all from the jar. Because I only had dried cilantro, I used 1/3 of a cup. Put it on High at 9:30 and turned it off at 3:00--it was boiling away! It was still hot when I served it at 5:30. It was delicious! My husband loved it and said the smell it created in the house while it was cooking was wonderful!"

Slow Cooker Creole Jambalaya (Cooking for 2)
"I put 1 lb of precooked smoked sausage and 2 cans of tomatoes in the slow cooker. Was quite a bit more generous with the hot sauce than 4 drops! Did't have any creole seasoning as some suggested, so added a teaspoon of Old bay. I added 12 oz of shrimp when the time came. Was delicious and have enough for another meal for the two of us. Will only have to make some rice."

Champagne Shrimp Risotto
"We liked this dish, but it doesn't feed 6 unless you used it as a side. And if that's the case, what would be the main dish? I agree with the other reviewer that it is good for 2 people with good appetites or 3 average to light eaters."

"Great stuffing! Made for about 100 people and didn't have 1 complaint. That's amazing in itself!"

Chai Mix
"I made this for a Christmas gift and the receipant enjoyed it. To answer "fairyfalls" ? of what is dry instant tea. It is iced tea mix without sugar or lemon added. You can usually get a store brand lots cheaper than the name brands besides!"

Vegetable Jambalaya
"at best a 3. not spicy at all which is what I think of when I think jambalaya and NO! However I added another 1/4 tsp of cayenne and then about 7 shakes of Tabasco Sauce and it was good."

Calypso Shrimp with Black Bean-Citrus Salsa
"Since my husband & I liked this so much I decided to make it a hair differently for my Girls Night Out group. Added some red pepper flakes (about 1/2 tsp) to the marinade. For salsa added 1 seeded, minced jalapeno and used a can of mandarin oranges instead of a fresh one. Cooked the shrimp about 2 hrs before I wanted to serve and refrigerated that and the salsa separately. To serve I covered the plate with baby spinach, mounded the salsa in the middle and surrounded it with the shrimp. Very pretty and everyone loved the flavor."

Calypso Shrimp with Black Bean-Citrus Salsa
"Just used nonstick spray to save on calories when cooking shrimp. Added a minced jalapeno(seeded) to the salsa. Now for the best part--put it all over a bed of rice and this appetizer became a meal! Very good!"

Slow Cooker Italian Chicken-Lentil Soup
"Substituted 1 can peas, 1 can green beans and 2 cans mushrooms for the fresh mushrooms and zucchini. Added one minced seeded jalapeno. Didn't even need the cheese!! Very good. Could easily be made without the chicken for a vegetarian and use vegetable broth instead of chicken."

Hot and Spicy Chicken Wings
"Sorry, this recipe is too dry. I think it's because it's cooked way too long. There's nothing wrong with my oven and it were done in half an hour! Also it says to "coat chicken with Bisquick mixture"--does that mean sprinkle it on or put it in a bag and add the wings, toss and then put on the pan? I put it in the bag and there wasn't enough coating to do the job. Won't bother with this one again."

"Same recipe from another site added sliced red onion to it and it was definitely tastier than this. Also more pesto for me than is called for."

Grilled Firecracker Chicken Wings
"We all loved these, but I baked them at 350 for 30-45 minutes instead of grilling them. Cut the tips off and marinated for 18-20 hours in the refrigerator."

Baked Buffalo Wings
"Didn't bother with the sauce. Marinated for about 18-20 hours in the refrigerator. Next time I will add more hot sauce or maybe red pepper flakes for a bit more spicy taste. They were good but not as good as the Grilled Firecracker chicken wings( from this site) that I baked at the same time in another pan."
