"It was good, but I probably won't make it again. I like how the pudding magically appeared! It's good for a light dessert."

"This was good. I've made it twice now. My only problem is that it's kind of stiff in the days after I've made it."

"Wasn't sure about these at first, but really wanted to try this unique dessert. It was really quite good. The batter is stiff like cookie dough. And it does make for difficult spreading on the pumpkin layer, so use your fingers. ALso, it won't look as pretty as the picture. It's definitely memorable though cause I think about it sometimes and wish there were some sitting in the fridge. "

"It definitely tasted healthy, on account of the whole wheat flour. It also tasted like cornbread. It was alright."

"These were awful. The cherry frosting ruined them. The frosting tastes bad by itself. Mixing it in the recipe was of little improvement. "

"I didn't like this cake. I really hoped and thought I would too, as a result of liking the Honey Bun Cake recipe on this site. If you really like cinnamon and chocolate this is the cake for you. But I never really liked the combination of the two."

"I really wanted to like this cake. I love banana bread and thought this would taste similar. I used two bananas, as per the recipe, and it was too much. I liked the addition of mini chocolate chips, though. I don't buy mini, so I used regular sized. I don't know if that makes a difference, but my chips were all on the bottom of the cake. I thought that it looked neat, though. I definitely agree with the other comment: If you like banana bread go with that. There's a great recipe on this site!"

"This cake was pretty good. I used 3 eggs instead of 4 because I thought it was too much. Everything came together well. I loved the way the batter smelled. It reminded me of those creme filled orange cupcakes Hostess makes. I didn't think I could replicate that taste at home!"

"I was really excited to make this, but it turned out to be a disappointment. I don't know if it was my fault, but I think it would have turned out relatively the same had I followed the recipe. I was short about 2 tablespoons on the honey. I didn't have sunflower nuts or candy coated pieces, so I just made the mix with the cereals, honey and butter. Although, I did think of using chocolate chips and peanuts as substitutes. I figured it would still taste good without the add-ons. Anyway, eating the cereals as they already are tastes much better than this mix. I won't make this again."

"What a great biscuit! I've never made strawberry shortcake before and I'm so glad I found this wonderful recipe. I always questioned eating a biscuit for dessert, but it really tasted great. Although perfect the way it was, I might add orange zest to the batter next time. It looked beautiful out of the oven. I didn't cut the cake horizontally or put butter on it. I cut it into triangles. I ate it at room temperature. What I really liked was that if I wanted to eat it warm, the strawberries and shortcake were done at about the same time. The great thing about it is that I'm going to use this as a biscuit recipe whenever I want biscuits!"

"This cake was TERRIBLE! I really didn't get a lot of help eating it. The peppermint was overpowering. It was like I drank it straight from the bottle. I didn't even use a 1/2 teaspoon. I only used what I had left in the bottle, which was about 1/4 teaspoon. The only redeeming quality was the red ribbon design. Maybe a different extract would be a better choice, but I think any extract would be too strong because you're just mixing it with cake batter. It's not like when you put an extract in a cookie batter and there's other stuff in there to offset the direct taste."

"This cake is really GOOD! It tastes just like cinnamon rolls! It was gone in a matter of days. I've never had a dessert go that fast. I was kind of sad about it. But, I definitely plan on making it again, sometime. I used almonds instead of pecans. The icing was really good, too. By all means MAKE THIS CAKE!"

"I wasn't a big fan of this recipe. However, my family ate it pretty quick! If you like Cinnamon Toast Crunch, you'd love this. It tastes just like it but with cranberries. It was very easy to make since you use the microwave. It's not as time consuming as a Chex Mix that uses the oven."

"I made the alternate Chocolate-Peppermint Bark at the bottom of the recipe. It was SO GOOD! It tastes just like any chocolate peppermint candy you would buy at the store. If you're confused about what almond bark is, it looks like a giant candy bar. You can find it in the baking aisle. It's usually higher up on the shelf. I definitely recommend trying this recipe!"
