"This recipe was really nothing to write home about. It was just ok. I seasoned the beef as others had suggested and I think the biscuits could have used some seasoning too, they were kind of bland. Overall I think my family will pass on having this again."

"I made this for a Memorial Day party that I went to. It turned out great except one of my layers started to crumble and took the rest of the cake down with it. But it worked out because I ended up frosting the whole thing (to keep it together) and you couldn't tell one of the layers broke. Also, I used one vanilla frosting and one cream cheese frosting...it was AMAZING! Everyone went back for seconds and I didn't have any to take home with me. Definitely making this again but I don't know if I'll cut it into 4 layers, maybe just keep it 2 and frost it."
