Beef Tenderloin with Red Wine Sauce
"This was fabulous! I used Marsala wine which gave the sauce a sweet taste. I'll use a dry wine next time. I'm sure we'll enjoy that too. Very easy."

Key Lime-Cream Cheese Crumble Cake
"Look for key lime juice in a bottle. I had to juice an entire bag of key limes to get 3/4 cup. It was too much work. The cake was delicious."

Cheesy Chicken and Rice Casserole
"This was good but it took way longer than what ithe recipe said. After 30 minutes the chicken was barely cooked so I turned up the heat and cooked it for 20 more minutes. Then I turned it up to 425 for an additional 20 minutes. The rice was still hard. Next time I will bake at 425 the entire time and use instant rice. I also added a can of diced tomatoes with green Giles and extra cheese."

Lemon Dream Tassies
"These are really easy. They did puff up so that it didn't seem that there would be enough space for the filling but the amount was perfect. I made half with lemon curd and half with Nutella. The crust is so good by itself that I may make them as just a cookie or maybe a jam thumbprint type cookie."

18 Layer Red Velvet Cake
"This cake is beautiful but it is very time consuming and the finished product is dry. When I was baking the cake I was nervous about its appearance but it did look just like the photo. The frosting is very good and a good match for the cake but the cake tastes dry. I'm hoping that it gets better as the days pass."

Chicken Marsala
"Absolutely wonderful and easy! I had chicken tenderloins so I didn't have to pound them but when I do I put them in a ziploc bag."

No Roll Chicken Cordon Bleu
"It's was okay. I should have pounded the chicken and folded it. Also, some of the cheese melted and oozed out while the chicken was cooking so I think the cheese will stay in better if you place the cheese inside the ham slice and fold the sides up around it before placing it in the chicken. I also thought the canned sauce was bland. I used the chicken broth option. Using the wine would have definitely helped."

Southwestern Chicken Pasta Salad
"This is very good but would have been better by mixing the salsa with ranch salad dressing. Nice summer salad."

Cupcake Poppers
"I made these with a chocolate cake mix , so I didn't color them. Just wanted to practice baking the mini cupcakes and cutting, and filling them. I'm planning to make red, and blue for the Fourth of July. Will try the suggestion about using the dram of liquid chocolate. I also used canned BC whipped fluffy white frosting for my filling. It was fantastic! Don't be timid about filling them. I was and my first ones were skimpy. Load 'em up! Look at the recipe for Team Color Poppers for more hints."

Red Velvet Rich and Creamy Cookies
"What a moist and delicious cookie! I used a small batter scoop instead of rolling the dough into balls. I think it made the recipe easier. I left off the nuts. These were such a hit! "

Peanut Butter Silk Cake
"I love this cake! I made it portable by making it in a 9X13X2 pan. I made the cake according to the recipe. After baking I poked holes all over the top of the cake with a meat fork. I made the brown sugar, peanut butter, whipped cream mixture according to the recipe and poured it over the warm cake . I let that cool for several hours then microwaved the canned frosting for 10 seconds to soften it then frosted the cake. You have to be careful spreading this over the peanut butter layer. So delicious and moist!"
