Bruschetta-Style Tortellini Salad
"Maybe I'm just a slow food preparer but 20 minutes for this salad is a bit unrealistic. I even dovetailed tasks, but you do have to prep a number of things and refrigerate it an hour or more. Fast prep sounds appealing but I felt I was lied to this time! Hope it tastes yummy."

Easy Chicken and Garden Veggies
"We used a new-at-our-grocers tomato-basil marinated chicken breasts for this recipe so had great flavor with veggies and bacon. Our bacon is thick sliced and leaner so would probably just use 3 slices next time. Also suggest draining some bacon drippings before adding the chicken breasts as that's not so easy with more in pan."

Tangy Cabbage Slaw
"Not exactly a summer recipe but had both red and green cabbage to use so made it and will try again in the fall. Would be wonderful with any pork you like."

Almond, Apricot and White Chocolate Decadence Bars
"Using my Cuisinart really made this an easy recipe. Here's how I did it. For cookie base, mixed egg first, then added butter, almond extract and cookie mix in that order. Mixed quickly. Wiped out bowl. Chopped apricots; removed. Processed almond paste, cut in 1-inch chunks, and sugar. Added remaining filling ingredients [used all 8-oz pkg cream cheese] and processed until smooth; then added the apricots just until mixed in. The vanilla chip ganache topping was made per recipe. Definitely decadent, but were good even a few days later!"

Easy Caramel Rolls
"Aside from waiting until the rolls are ready to bake, these are a great little 'cheat!' I used enough pecan halves to cover the bottom of the pan and dark corn syrup. Wonderful."

Buckeye Delights
"To answer a question from another reviewer, I didn't use the cupcake liners as our store didn't have. I just used shortening to grease the muffin cups. They came out fine after the 30 minute cooling time. Definitely not an everyday cookie."

30-Minute Ham and Pasta Salad
"We loved this salad. There are just two of us so we ate it several times! Stayed great the whole time. Used sweet pickle relish for dill; added cheese as we ate it as knew would get soft otherwise, and added half a chopped cucumber we had on hand. Perfect for hot summer days."

Grilled Chipotle Burgers with Guacamole
"They did the trick. Made last night a day ahead of Cinco de Mayo! Couldn't wait. Next time we'll treat our friends as these burgers are tasty enough for company as long as your guests like these southwest flavors and a little heat."

Creamy Ham and Fettuccine
"Could become a staple as usually have these ingredients on hand. Like Jean Y's idea of asparagus. Also thought some sauteed mushrooms would have been great. Liked that it wasn't so saucy and it's not loaded with fat with this sauce!"
