Slow Cooker Lasagna
"This lasagna was excellent. Highly reccommend. Supurb taste, so easy, the noodles come out just right, not mushy or hard. It holds it shape when served, yet is tender and moist through. I serve with extra sauce on the side. The flavor is as delicious as what you put into it. The only difference in time between slow cooker and regular oven I think is that you don't have to boil the noodles. I have served this to family and company. All have loved the dish. Slow cookers vary so you do have to check it. Mine is usually done in 3.5 - 4 hrs on low. I have kept it on "warm" for 2 hrs with no adverse effects. "

Light Lemon-Sesame Chicken
"Delicious. The chicken is juicy and tender with a light/crispy coating on the outside. The lemon sauce is supurb. I have put the receipt for the sauce as a stand-alone for use on veggies or rice or bread pudding. "

Gluten Free Chocolate Crinkles
"Absolutely YUM. Confession, I did not use GF Bisquick, but regular instead. The cookies were so easy to make, supurbly tasty with an almost fudgy texture and remained fairly soft for days. "

Make-Ahead Alfredo Strata
"Absolutely delicious and so easy to make. Tasty, tasty. I added ham cubes and let it sit overnight; salt and pepper to taste. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed it. Love the idea of the mushrooms too. If you are eating egg dishes, you have cholesterol; cheese dishes add fat, ham adds salt. Enjoy everything in moderation, my friends, but do enjoy."

Slow Cooker Lasagna
"OK, this gets an A plus plus. I have never cooked lasagna before. Too complicated, but thought I'd give this a try because I really enjoy a good lasagna. This was superb. I have to confess that I substituted a small jar of Prego for one of the cans of tomato sauce and Asiago for the Parmesian. It set up firm, noodles were perfect, servings could be lifted out easily, it held form and was more than delicious. My Italian son-in-law pronounced it the best thing I've made, and I'm a pretty good cook. It's a keeper."

Sour Cream-Honey Fruit Salad
"Excellent, excellent. It passed the critical husband test, going from "What the heck is this?" TO "Oh, this is really good. Got any more?". It's going into my receipt file. You can use any fruits you have on hand and, for a little sweeter, add a little more honey. Versitlie and good."

Fudgy Frosted Brownie Cookies
"I'm eating one of these as I write. Quite good; slight dry, but chocolately and very brownie like. My husband thinks that a scoop of ice cream between two of these cookiess, frozen for an hour or so would be a definate "5" spoons."

1-2-3 Chewy Peanut Butter Cookies
"These are THE best peanut butter cookies I have made. Moist, peanut buttery, firm yet melt in your mouth. This one is going into my personal recipe file and I'm sharing it with friends. "

Greek Yogurt Blueberry Muffins
"The muffins are light and fluffy, more towards cakey. I prefer a muffin with a heartier texture. They have good flavor (I used fresh frozen blueberries), but I'd add more lemon flavoring next time. I would make them again, but will continue to look for that country-morning blueberry muffin receipt."

Bread Machine Sour Cream and Vanilla Bread
"Excellent! I had no sour creme, so used vanilla yougurt instead. This is the best loaf of white bread that has come out of my bread machine. It is light, evenly risen, a great, smooth texture and moist. This one goes in my special receipts file and I'm sharing it with friends. "

Super-Easy Chicken Manicotti
"Absolutely yummy. I can see that there are several others like me who always have to add just a little of their own touch to a recipie. I have never made manicotti before, but have added this to my recipie book. I added sliced mushrooms and used a jar of Prego mushroom and a jar of Prego meat sauce. I broke up the chicken tenders before stuffing. The chicken was moist and tender. It took about 15 min. more than the recipie called for to thoroughly cook the pasta. Served with garlic bread and a salad, everyone was delighted and full. Do completely cover the manicotti with sauce though."
