Saucy Ground Beef and Noodles
"Not bad. It just tastes a lot like spagetti from a box of a jar. Nothing to get a excited about"

Orange-Currant Muffins
"Made these for breakfast this morning. Outstanding flavor! Hot out of the oven with a little butter is all you need. We had some fresh orange juice and orange slices with them. Used raisins instead of currants."

Bacon-Cheese Pull-Aparts
"My family requests this often. I found this recipe only about 6 weeks ago and we have had it at least 3 times since then. We all love it. We like it for dinner best. If my kids know we are having this for dinner, they always eat at home. I add grated or thin sliped potatoes."

Ham and Cheese Muffins
"These muffins are really good and easy to make. I suggest increasing the baking time to 22 to 24 min. I substituted buttermilk for the regular milk and I added 1 tsp. of garlic powder. One of these with some fresh fruit would make a good quick breakfast."

Choco Chip-Applesauce Muffins
"I made these for breakfast today. They were a big hit. Warm and freash out of the oven is the way to eat these. Not a single muffin was left over. They were also quick and easy to make. My family said these are a DO AGAIN."

Thai Chicken Pizzas
"This was the worst recipe we have ever tried from Betty Crocker. The peanut butter sauce was awefull. There will not be a next time on this one unless we substitute pizza sauce for the peanut butter sauce. This program will not let me rate zero spoons so I give it the lowest rating of 1. I would give it a minus rating if I could."

Cinnamon-Raisin Biscuits
"Hi, me again.(See 8/14/2009) Yesterday I made these at the spur of the moment for breasfast. I did not have raisins but it did not matter. I also used buttermilk and not sweet milk. After the dough formed I made little ping pong ball sized balls and rolled them in a sugar/cinnimon mix before putting them on the cookie sheet. What a hit!!! The only problem was they did have a tendensy to stick to the cookie sheet but a spatule was all we needed to fix that problem."

Chocolate-Stuffed Peanut Butter Brownies
"I was not all that thrilled with these brownies but my kids loved them. They did not seem to have that good peanut butter taste. The only thing I did not do was put the candy on the top. Maybe next time. I say 3 spoons but my kids say 5."

Weeknight Beef Stroganoff
"BIG HIT with my family. My mother made Stroganoff (with ground beef)one time when I was a kid. My dad and brother and I all made fun of it (looked liked it had already been eaten) so she never made it again. My family loved this recipe and so did I. I promptly called my mother and apoligized. She is still the best cook I know."

Cowboy Casserole
"Not bad. My family seemed to like it however it was not all that exciting to me. Easy and quick to fix. My family wants this again but I think I will bake the cheese in with the bisquik topping. I used Bushes Original Baked Beans but next time I will use the mesquite or smoked flavor. If you want to get away from the sweet flavor, you might try using Ranch style beans"

Waldorf Salad

"WOW, very good with very little effort. The Au Jus was a little too "onion'y" for my husband but everyone else thought it was great. Served it on a french roll (no cheese). Will do this one again."

Chicken-Vegetable Soup with Dumplings
"My family was not over joyed with this soup. It was a little bit of a pain to make and the dumplings were soft. I should have read the reviews first. Not bad overall but not sure if I will do this one again."

Cacciatore-Style Chicken
"Bland, bland, bland. It needs something else. If I ever try this one again, I will use Italian style canned tomatoes or maybe add some oregano or salt. Maybe all three."

Warm Caramel Apple Cake
"WOW, FANTASTIC. Will do this again. I even screwed it up and it still came out good. (I use cool whip by mistake in place of whipping cream) Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. This cake didn't even last one day before it was gone."
