"Made these little gems earlier this week and they were a huge hit with the entire family. I followed the recipe exactly, except I did grate the cucumber for the sauce instead of chopping. I had leftovers the following day, without the bun, topped with a bit of the sauce, and they reheated beautifully. Delicious without the bun as well for those watching their carbs. Thank you for the yummy recipe!"

"Very nice recipe with good depth of flavor. I made the recipe as written with the exception of using crushed tomatoes with Italian seasoning, and omitting the dried Italian seasoning. Well liked by adults and kiddos. Thank you for the wonderful recipe!"

"Unlike the photo, the beef will not slice in uniform pieces but is fork tender and shreds (which we actually prefer). If you are looking for uniform slices of beef, this is not the dish for you. In addition we were very disappointed in the lack of taste in this dish, despite the ingredients. Not a bad recipe per se, just not for us."

"This is an absolute favorite at my house. I use white frosting to frost the cake (I think the lemon would be too much, in my opinion). This cake never lasts long, and I am often asked when I''m going to make it again! Thank you for the yummy recipe!"

"This recipe was very quick and healthful, but really lacking in flavor. I browned the beef with chopped onion and garlic, adding a wee bit of red wine prior to the other ingredients; despite this there was no real flavor development in the dish. I used potato flakes to help thicken the dish as it was more soup than stew. Even my I-will-eat-anything hubby didn''t care for this dish."
