"This recipe is easy and it is fabulous! It tastes like a dessert from a fancy, expensive restaurant! I made it using Gluten-Free Bisuick ( 1/3 cup) and raspberry jam. I made it for Valentine's Day but will be making it often. This goes in my permanent cook book."

"For this recipe alone it is worth always having a box ( or two) of Bisquick on your pantry shelf. I have been making this for over 40 years and still cannot believe how easy it is to make something that looks and tastes so good. PS the dumplings also go great with a beef stew"

"I made this cake to serve on Christmas morning and it was a great hit with all concerned. Nobody even thought it might be gluten-free. The taste and texture of the cake was just right-- a not too sweet coffee cake in the best tradition. I just topped it with a little powdered sugar instead of the icing and nuts. This is sure to become a year round favorite at our house!"

"I didn't find this recipe until after I had made up my own "impossible pumpkin pie". I made mine using Gluten-Free Bisquick but it works just as well with the regular, original Bisquick. Mix together: 3 (medium) eggs or 2 large eggs,3/4 cup of brown sugar, 1 cup of pumpkin,1 tsp. cinnamon, 1/2 tsp.nutmeg, 1/4 tsp. ginger, 1/4 tsp. salt, 1 cup of milk and 1/2 cup Bisquick ( original or gluten free). Bake at 425 degrees F for 15 minutes, then reduce heat to 350 F. and bake for another 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. This pie has a great flavor and texture! Bisquick is the greatest!"
