Mexican Cornbread
"Ok but not what I expected. I had leftover buttermilk to use so I chose this to go along with some homemade chili. It was heavy and savory. You could have made a meal of this alone. I made it more enjoyable by melting butter and cheese over each slice. We threw a lot out since I had made a double batch and cornbread usually goes fast in our house."

Slow Cooker Easy Beef and Broccoli
"This was pretty good; but as others have said, somewhat bland. I added more soy sauce to my dish after I served it. I would make it again; but try to increase the flavor of the sauce."

Cheesy Crockpot Chicken
"Proof cooking doesn't have to be complex to taste fantastic. I served this over rice but it would also be very good over egg noodles. You could easily jazz this up with some vegetables or spices too. But it doesn't need them. I love that the meat is tender...nothing worse than dried out meat."

Three-Cheese Spinach and Pasta Bake
"I thought this was just OK; which really disappointed me. It was on the dry side. I would have enjoyed it more with some kind of white sauce on it. The cheeses are excellent I did have to use regular feta since we could not find tomato-basil one it called for. I added dried basil as well. If I make it again I'll try to add more of a sauce to it and I will add a meat; either sausage or chicken. But I'm in no hurry."

Slow Cooker Tuscan-Style Chicken Sandwiches
"These were simple and FANTASTIC! I added a little wine to the slow cooker and oh my goodness! My husband requested these again soon. Even our toddler ate it up! Since I added some extra liquid I had a good bit of extra broth in there. I would suggest; do not waste it! We let it soak into the bread a bit. Delicious!!"

Mexican Pasta Bake
"This was a hit with my husband and my toddler! The leftovers were just as good as it was hot out of the oven. I did not change the recipe at all. I will be making it again soon!"

Southwestern Pasta Salad
"I just made this for the first time and I will definitely be making this many times in the future!! I couldn't find the particular brand of salsa it calls for; so I used another one that contained cilantro. I also used a green pepper instead of red. It is delicious even without giving it time to marinate! I can't wait for dinner tonight!!"

Peach-Berry Smoothies
"This is a super easy and yummy smoothie recipe! One word of caution; the frozen peaches I used weren't very sweet, so the smoothie wasn't as sweet as I expected/hoped. But still very good!"

Lentil and Brown Rice Casserole
"This recipe was pretty good. I used chopped broccoli instead of green beans. My lid didn't seem to fit very well on the casserole dish I used; so I ended up adding some more vegetable broth when I added the broccoli. It did turn out good in the end. Definitely a nice, hearty meal for a cold rainy day!"

Cheesy Beef and Tomato Casserole
"This was very good but I made a few changes. I doubled the rice (it will need to cook longer if you do this!) and I used brown rice instead of white. I also used summer squash because I couldn't find zucchini. It was really good that way though! It's not my favorite recipe; but I will make it again. Even my 14 month old ate it right up!"

Cheesy Beef and Tomato Casserole
"This recipe was good. Not a favorite but good enough to have again and enjoy the leftovers. I made it with brown rice and summer squash since I couldn't find zucchini. The rice was not done at all after just the 50 minutes of baking. I baked it an extra 30 after we had already eaten some and it looks much better and is definitely less soupy looking. I'm sure next time it'll turn out much better! But it still tasted great tonight!"

Slow Cooker Beef-Vegetable Chili
"Very tasty! I always use a low sodium or mild version when I have a recipe calling for a packet of spices. It always comes out great! I have used beef stew meat for this recipe instead of the steak as well."

Pumpkin Cheesecake
"I love making this! This was the first cheesecake recipe I ever tried and it came out great! It was a hit and I've made it for most of our holidays since. I would make it anytime though. I do enjoy the whipped cream with a sprinkle of pumpkin pie spice on top as suggested. Really a nice touch."

Slow Cooker Cowboy Stew
"My husband and I love this. I've shared it before and everyone compliments it. It's super easy to make. I usually get a bag of frozen chopped onion to keep on hand and use that. My only problem the last year or so is that I can't find barbecue beans! The ones I used to get all the time are not out anymore apparently."
